29 days to Needlework Expo and the Magical Plants

 


Dear Diary, 

A month and I will be in the middle of the Expo!   The pile on my desk and my living room is growing, also I still find myself sketching new ideas and arguing with myself that now we should draw a line, I already have enough designs. 

 


I had only a few hours in the evening as it was workday, I had been working on the main piece (I call it crown piece) of my new 7-piece Magical Plants series, it will be first released for the Expo and it will be released in my shop only in November. 

 


This main piece is my personal favourite for the Needlework Expo.   It seems it will be the last one to be fully finished.  I also wait 2 shippings from one of my model stitchers. 

Until if you are curious, here is the first piece, SACRED SAGE of the Magical Plants series, it has been published two weeks ago and available in pdf with instant download upon purchase in the Etsy shop: 


It is stitched with Gentle Art Sampler Threads and DMC, and as always you can find the DMC conversation in the pattern.  

The main piece of the series that is to be released during the Needlework Expo for shops is double in size and I just love, love the way it looks!

My dear Stitchers, I am so overwhelmed how many of you have already joined the 'Joyful World' SAL that starts today!:-) I will share every information, instruction and pattern here, on my blog, too to help those stitching sisters who do not use Facebook or would like to stitch the patterns without the group. The Joyful World SAL is a primitive monthly calendar. Joyful World - DECEMBER PATTERN

Dear Stitchers, We have arrived to the finish of my primitive cross stitch calendar, Joyful World. Tonight, before the clock hits midnight, I release the pattern of the last month, December. I am happy and sad at the same time.   Designing and creating this calendar became part of my life, almost like a job I love. According to my filofax notes, designing (in 20+ languages), stitching, photoshooting, photoshoping, pattern making, releasing, promoting this calendar needed 121 days in 10 months, mainly the evening hours. I have started releasing the first month this January in 2016 and hoped for some folks to come by and join the stich along of this calendar pattern I designed for my children.  I expected 30+ participants, most of them friends who are too nice to say no:-)   Today, November 10, 2016 there are 6.481 members in our Facebook group dedicated to this SAL.   You can guess that I am in shock for many months now.
