New patterns

I am very busy packing everything all up and finishing things for the wonderful needlework event I am participating this September: Fili Senza Tempo in Italy.   I haven't been to any event for some time now due to my photography works, so I am very-very excited to go!:-)

One old, one new:-)

My dear Stitchers,

I hope you are doing well and going to have a great summer with lots of stitching time!:-) 

I spend lot of time with my new love:  photography (by the way, it is me on the picture with an old beautiful machine:-)  The interesting thing is that since I have started to learn professional photography in 2016 and I focus a lot in cameras as I shot loads every week, my eyes turned sharper! The doctor even had to change the diopters of my glasses/contact lenses, can you believe that?  I think I found the perfect job to improve my eyes to my cross stitching!:-)  Well... I still have to use a magnifier lamp in the evening as 40 count is still my favourite. 

 

This year The Snowflower Diaries will travel to Italy this September, I hope to meet many of you, darling!

I have released a long awaited pattern today, Pure Love for your request.  This pattern has been first published in a JCS magazine in 2015 and you have been keeping asking me to publish it one day.  Link

Tomorrow I will bring you a brand new patriotic pattern, this will be my first patriotic pattern as a respect for my lovely-lovely stitching friends in the USA who I miss very much!:)

Joyful World - DECEMBER PATTERN

Dear Stitchers,

We have arrived to the finish of my primitive cross stitch calendar, Joyful World.
Tonight, before the clock hits midnight, I release the pattern of the last month, December. I am happy and sad at the same time.   Designing and creating this calendar became part of my life, almost like a job I love.

According to my filofax notes, designing (in 20+ languages), stitching, photoshooting, photoshoping, pattern making, releasing, promoting this calendar needed 121 days in 10 months, mainly the evening hours.

I have started releasing the first month this January in 2016 and hoped for some folks to come by and join the stich along of this calendar pattern I designed for my children.  I expected 30+ participants, most of them friends who are too nice to say no:-)   Today, November 10, 2016 there are 6.481 members in our Facebook group dedicated to this SAL.   You can guess that I am in shock for many months now.

I am happy we have done it, because we have done it together: I would have not been able to finish stitching it if it was not you who all come to join from all over the world!   This design (among with others) would have laid in my desk till the end of time on sheets of paper.

JOYFUL WORLD - JUNE PATTERN

My dear Readers, 

How are you doing? 

I have been away from my designing for some weeks: I am refurnishing my house, especially the crafting space.  I love how it becomes more beautiful and more like I had imagined it in my dreams.  

This big cupboard I bought for The Snowflower Diaries office. It was a brown old German cupboard that I painted.  It is still not ready - some aging and antiqueing is ahead, but I already enjoy it!

Hogy vagytok?  Néhány hétre háttérbe szorult a tervezési munkám: átalakítom a házunkat, különös tekintettel az alkotói, kreatív részekre.  Nagyon élvezem, hogy egyre szépül és egyre inkább megvalósul mindaz, amelyet elképzeltem, megálmodtam.   Ezt a böhöm nagy szekrényt a Snowflower Diaries irodájának vásároltam.  Egy barna ónémet szekrény volt, amelyet átfestettem. Még nincs kész - még kicsit öregítem, antikolom, de már most nagyon meg vagyok elégedve!

The SAL runs in 22 languages:-) I am glad at least in for 4 languages the name of June has been the same!

How are you doing? I spend most of my free time in the garden.  I had been to Italy last month on a needlework show, Fili Senza Tempo, I will publish a post about it, I still arranging the thousand picture I took traveling in Bologna and Modena.
