PUMPKIN FOR CATHEY

I would like to join Daffycat's thoughtful call today and join the chain of  "Pumpkin For Cathey" posts in the stitching community.

Cathey from Pumpkin Patch & Co.  is celebrating her 7th blogoversary today.  She is battling a terrible disease these days.  She is also a mother of a little boy and that is why she is a real fighter.  She has so much to live and so much to give.   I hope this little drawing I have made for her can bring a smile to these very hard days.  I am very proud of the stitching bloggers, too, as I could see, almost a hundred bloggers had joined and posted a picture of pumpkin to Cathey.

IN HUNGARIAN: 
A mai napon Daffycatnek a hímzőközösséghez intézett felhívásához szeretnék csatlakozni, a "Pumpkin For Cathey" (Egy Tököt Cathey-nek) lánchoz.   A Pumpkin Patch & Co-t jegyző Cathey a 7. blogfordulóját ünnepli ma.   Ő az, aki egy borzalmas betegséggel küzd ezekben a napokban.   Egy pici kisfiú anyukája, őmiatta, egy igazi harcos.  Annyi mindent szeretne még megélni és annyi mindent tudna még adni...  Remélem, a kis rajzom, amelyet neki készítettem felvidítja egy picit ezekben a rettenetes napokban.  Nagyon büszke vagyok a hímző bloggertársakra is, amikor imént megnéztem, már majdnem százan csatlakoztak a lánchoz és posztoltak egy tököt Catheynek.

      Nagyon borzalmas érzés lehet egy anyának, hogy a pici gyerekét lehet, nem látja felnőni, nem tudja megvédeni, szeretni, ölelni, vigyázni rá, belegondolni sem merek, mert mindjárt bőgök:((( Sajnos Cathey elég súlyos állapotban van...:(

    This design is gorgeous, and will surely be a wonderful embroidery. But it will be a design in memory of Cathey, because she died last October, losing her battle with cancer!

Joyful World - DECEMBER PATTERN

Dear Stitchers, We have arrived to the finish of my primitive cross stitch calendar, Joyful World. Tonight, before the clock hits midnight, I release the pattern of the last month, December. I am happy and sad at the same time.   Designing and creating this calendar became part of my life, almost like a job I love. According to my filofax notes, designing (in 20+ languages), stitching, photoshooting, photoshoping, pattern making, releasing, promoting this calendar needed 121 days in 10 months, mainly the evening hours. I have started releasing the first month this January in 2016 and hoped for some folks to come by and join the stich along of this calendar pattern I designed for my children.  I expected 30+ participants, most of them friends who are too nice to say no:-)   Today, November 10, 2016 there are 6.481 members in our Facebook group dedicated to this SAL.   You can guess that I am in shock for many months now.
