Good afternoon,  Only days and I will be in France, I am already packing, planning and so excited! :-) This will be also the first business trip of The Snowflower Diaries and I am happy I am keeping this diary, because it will record the first occasion I visit a huge international needlework fair, L' aiguille en fete in Paris, first in my life.  I would like to watch and learn a lot from the "big names", feel the pulse of the European needlework market, get  inspired beyond anything else.  I cannot wait to meet and great my dear French online friends now in real life with real hugs and get social!    To celebrate this event I had made the French version of my beloved pattern I dedicated to my children: You Are So Loved.   It is a free pattern.  The French version is taller, because I had to lift the upper flowers, too. I had also made some plastic surgery on the English chart, and now it is shrinked to a supermodel size 1 page chart and...

Good evening dear stitchers, The muse is not kissing me with super Valentine pattern ideas, but all over me with spring ones. Now the real, classic winter with all the white and cold has arrived to my country, too, but nevermind, my spring flowers are blooming in all their yellow an purple glory!  I must have a deep attachment to purple tulips or I am simply this dull as a designer, because last year's favourite was also starring a purple one.  Remember this little chic? :-)  IN HUNGARIAN:   Szép jó estét kedves hímzők! Hello 2014,  good-bye 2013 I  hope you all had wonderful holidays!  We had the greatest Christmas in my parent's house, the only thing we were missing - we are still missing - is the snow!   The weather went crazy in Hungary, it feels like spring, the season of tulip bossom and Easter though it is January which supposed to be the coldest month.  This warm winter is very unusual and I miss the good old icy winters with knee-high snow of last years. A year ago I was a stay-at-home mom with three kids living a very isolated life in a village where I hardly knew anybody.  At the end of February I went back to work as a lawyer again into the heart of the capital city, and a week later The Snowflower Diaries was launched. Good evening, My Christmas present has arrived, I had lately won a wonderful giveaway from Mók Manka, a dear Hungarian lady with beautiful handmade crafts.   http://mokmanka.blogspot.hu/     So many treasures inside, handmades, stitched ornament, amazing box, lots of ribbons and fabrics, wooden ornaments, paper ornaments, chocolates, mmm...! Good afternoon, It is Luca Day here in Hungary, a witch day with many folk traditions and superstitions, I am sure I sobelle of The Primitive Hare would love to be here today;-)  It is similar to Halloween, but the witches are dressed in all white to frighten the people. I have started wrapping our Christmas gifts in secret, it is not easy in our house with many curious kids who are always following me everywhere;-) I had designed a set of Christmas gift tags for them that I would like to share with you, so if you like them, please feel free to download and share them.  I have painted these little figures.
