The Snowflower Diaries

My darlings, I enjoy and appreciate summer holiday so much after I had a car crash this month.  I celebrate small things in life much more.   I am thinking of starting the #100happydays challenge on Facebook, too. My dear girls,  How are you doing?  Have you started your summer holiday? :-)  I have to admit I took a jump start in May and spent the most amazing time in the wonderful Tuscany with stitching friends.  It was so great to spend time with other designers like The Primitive Hare, Niky's Creations or Susan Greening Davies and meet the staff of Casacenina (who also let us get lost in their breath-taking warehouse). I met so many wonderful, great people who all love primitive cross stitch, Italy, good wines and fun.   In Hungarian : Drága Csajok!   Hogy vagytok? Have you ever wondered why I chose the name Snowflower Diaries?  First of all I could not think of a better name.    I had participated on a business course for crafters last week where they spoke about the importance of choosing a good, possibly not too long, name.   I know that by any calculation mine does not fit the criteria and what is more, I LOVE misspelled words as I like all things that has a little 'mistake', a scar, a touch of difference.   My brand name is long, misspelled (snowflower instead of snowdrop, because this is how we call this flower in my language and I like it better), but fits me perfectly and I will not change it for all the treasures of the world. My darlings, Thank you very-very much for all your comments to my last post.  I am one happy person to have such friends both online and offline!:-) How are you doing in these first days of 2015? I was busy planning The Snowflower Diaries new year.  I have a book of secrets every year with all the plannings and scheduling. This year it is much more detailed, I made a yearly, monthly and daily plans to, a blogging and a business plan, too. Dear Friends, There is only 30 mins left from 2014! It had been the hardest and darkest year of my life, I had learnt so much about people and myself, too. I am very thankful I step into 2015 with a clear vision of those who proved to be real family and friends, friends in need.  I am very thankful that the trauma that broke my life into pieces also broke those stony fossil layers on my soul that made my eyes blind for so long and forgot what lays really inside, down under, who I am and what was my heart's real desire. When I was a child  I was so sensitive, more sensitive than anyone I met, I had nobody to understand and after a while I labelled myself as crazy, too who has way too vivid fantasy.   As the years passed I slowly and imperceptidly forgot to see and feel.  I always thought others knew better who I am, they must be right what is best for me. Good evening, I am very happy to spend the rest of the week at home with my kids.   I am also planning the 2015 year of The Snowflower Diaries using a couple free printable planners I found on Pinterest and - of course - I had to buy new set of pens in all colours, stickers and tapes;-)   I must be more organised in the future and use my time wiser, this was the main conclusion of 2014.   Today I brought you a new design, friend of yesterday's Elise.  She is Josephine .   The pattern is 128 W x 95 H, the model was stitched with DMC and The Gentle Art Threads.    It is available in our Etsy shop.
