NEW TREASURES

I have to tell you I have no strength to resist the temptation when it is about building my needlework stash.  Furthermore I love visiting the eyecandy stash posts of foreign stitching blogs and I am happy to share with you my first one of such in my diary here. (In case my husband asks, all these things costed ten bucks altogether, okey?)

As you have noticed I am in love with hand dyed fabrics and threads.  I hope one day I can get lost in one of those amazing needlework stores you have in France, England in the USA as we do not have such stores here, so 95 % of my stash is from online webshops.

I am very blessed that despite this handicap, one of the most talented fiber artist, Nina is not only a fellow Hungarian but lives very close to my house.   No matter what I asked (and I have a wild imagination what colours and linens my heart desire, believe me) she brought  them to life. Soon.  I did not have to be anybody, and I am still a noname designer and only one out of the million sticher, I did not have to be rich, someone she could expect to set huge orders and I was a stay-at-home mom with babies with not much to spend on stash, but still she was always so helpful, open-minded and kind.  She had created everything I asked for.

IN HUNGARIAN:
Mi több, imádom a külföldi hímzős blogok nyálcsorgató alapanyag mutogatós posztjait nézegetni.  Nagy örömmel publikálom most az első ilyen jellegű posztot itt a naplómban.

Let's see the new arrivals to my stash:
Nézzük hát a hímzős alapanyagaimhoz érkezett újdonságokat:

You can never have enough linens, right? :-) Nina had just launched a new collection of linens, must-haves!
Soha nem lehet elég lenvásznunk, nem igaz? :-)  Nina nemrég indította el új lenkollekcióját, muszáj belőlük szerezni!

I love autumn and Halloween designs, isn't this just perfect for such, what do you think?  All those shadows and clouds, mmm

I can see it was enough of the cold and dark winter, it is time for spring, sunshine and colours:

I had asked her permission to post this picture as this thread has not been published yet, but I bribed her to give me one skein immediately, its name will be: Sphinx
A neve: Sphinx.

She knew I have been dreaming of a flower frog for my scissors for ages, but it is not something you can buy here and it is not easy to catch one via ebay, too, and look what she gave to me!!!! I am the happiest person on Earth!  I could  not wait to arrive home and arrange my creative corner with this queen:-)  It is an antique French piece.   She also gave me this super wonderful owl scissor as she is well aware of my guilty pleasures (Severus Snape and company:-)
Én vagyok a földkerekség legboldogabb embere!    Alig vártam,  hogy hazaérjek és átrendezzem a kreatív sarkomat ehhez a királynői antik francia darabhoz.    Kaptam tőle egy bagoly ollót is, hiszen jól tudja, milyen bűnös élvezeteknek hódolok (Perselus Piton és kompániája:-)

This pure silk Ivory thread was created upon my request.   This Blackbird Design is the first needlework I stitch with silk threads.  She had dyed all the other colours, too, but this ivory was missing, not anymore!:-)

I hope to launch some hardanger patterns in the future.  I needed DMC Perle Cottons, but these are not available in my country.  Lucky again, I have another wonderful friend, Judit Patakiné Kelemen who had launched a growing online needlework shop here, Xszemesbolt and she has started sellling these first in Hungary in these days.
